Little Rock public education is provided by The Little Rock Public School District which operates 35 elementary schools, eight middle schools, five senior high schools, a vocational-technical center, and an alternative learning school. Little Rock colleges and universities include the University of Arkansas, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, UALR School of Law, and Pulaski Technical College. There is free college tuition for anyone over 60.  There are several options for private education including schools sponsored by the Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, and Episcopalian churches.

Little Rock is served by the Little Rock National Airport which is considered one of the most convenient urban regional airports in the country.  Public transportation is provided by the Central Arkansas Transit Authority.  The River Rail is Little Rock's newest and most exciting form of public transportation.
